1. Overview
HRT AI is an iPhone application for tracking menopause symptoms and HRT regimens. By design it stores the information you log locally on your device, not in our cloud. We collect the minimum information needed to keep the app reliable and to process App Store subscriptions.
2. Data we may process
- On your device only: symptom check-ins, dose entries, protocol configuration, inventory, library reading state, app settings. This data never leaves your iPhone unless you explicitly export or share it.
- Anonymous diagnostic and crash information used to improve app stability. Never contains hormone names, doses, or symptom values.
- Subscription metadata processed through Apple's billing flows (we receive entitlement status, not your payment details).
- Anonymous usage analytics (e.g., which screens are opened, how long sessions last), used to improve the product. Opt-out available in Settings.
3. How we use it
- To deliver the symptom-check-in, reminder, inventory, library, and weekly-summary features.
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and to protect subscription integrity.
- To improve stability and product quality.
- To respond to support requests and lawful requirements.
4. On-device storage and the weekly AI summary
Your symptom log, dose history, and protocols are stored locally using SwiftData. The weekly AI summary is generated on-device when Apple Intelligence is available. If you opt in to a server-assisted summary, only the minimum aggregated context required to generate the summary is sent, and it is never retained beyond the request.
5. Third-party services
HRT AI relies on third-party providers for App Store billing (Apple), crash reporting, and anonymous analytics. We do not sell personal information. We do not share your symptom or dose data with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Retention
On-device data is kept for as long as you keep the app installed and is deleted when you delete the app or use the in-app "Delete all data" action. Anonymous diagnostic and analytics records are retained for a limited period for stability work.
7. Your rights
Where applicable law applies, you can request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Email contact@hrtai.app so we can verify the request.
8. Security
We apply technical and organizational safeguards. On-device data is protected by iOS Data Protection. No system can be guaranteed fully secure, but we continuously improve the controls we apply.
9. Medical disclaimer
HRT AI tracks what you log and surfaces patterns. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not recommend, calculate, or adjust hormone doses. Always consult a qualified menopause-trained clinician for any medical decision — starting, stopping, or changing HRT.
10. Children
HRT AI is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Updates
We may update this policy when features or legal obligations change. Material updates will be reflected by changing the effective date above.
